Wilders mix energy, country to make music

By Michael A. Brothers News-Leader The Wilders take acoustic country and hillbilly music and make it, well, wild again. The Kansas City-based band comes to Springfield to play two shows downtown tonight, first at the High Strung music store followed by a late-night gig at the Bar Next Door. "They are so high-energy and really tight as an ensemble that it really does send goose bumps up your spine," says Dave Harp, who owns the High Strung and whose band the Arkamo Rangers will open for the Wilders at the BND. .
